The assistant in the pane and a connected agent call the same tools. Every tool that works on a photo takes a photograph argument that
names the subject. The path must be inside a folder you opened in Fotometis. No
tool erases a photo, and no tool deletes a snapshot. See

Every control value of one photo, with its style, its curves, its layers, its patches, its tags, and what the camera recorded. |
show_photograph |
The photo as developed now, as a JPEG. The size runs from 256 to 2048 pixels on the longest edge. |
measure_photograph |
The distribution of brightness in the photo, and how much of each channel clips to black or white. |
locate_subject |
The box that holds each subject and the center of its weight, as fractions of the uncropped frame. |

set_controls |
Sets the controls, the tone curves, the style, and the white balance of one layer. Every value is absolute. A control left out keeps its value. |
set_layers |
States the whole stack: the order of the layers, their names, and which ones are on. A layer left out is removed. |
set_layer_mask |
Sets where a layer applies. If no layer carries that name, Fotometis makes one. |
A patch is numbered by its position in the list, and the count starts at 0.

Changes the mode, the feather, the opacity, or the source of a patch. The stroke stays where it is. |

Fotometis never overwrites a file. If the name is taken, it writes the next free
