Introduction

Fotometis is a non-destructive RAW photo editor for macOS. Every adjustment is stored as an edit on top of the original file, so nothing you do touches the photo on disk.

Alongside the usual develop controls, Fotometis ships an assistant that operates those same controls on your behalf. It runs on a fine-tuned local model by default; you can point it at a model from any major provider instead. The editor is fully usable without it.

Fotometis also exposes its tooling over the Model Context Protocol, so an MCP client of your choice can drive it for batch work or as one step in a larger pipeline. MCP access is read-and-edit only, scoped to the folders you have open.
