Introduction

Fotometis is a non-destructive RAW photo editor for macOS. Every adjustment is stored as an edit on top of the original file, so nothing you do touches the photo on disk.

Fotometis is not released yet. For users coming from Lightroom, Fotometis will offer a familiar set of tools with some improvements of our own.

Alongside the usual develop controls, Fotometis ships an assistant that operates those same controls on your behalf. It runs on a fine-tuned local model by default. You can also run the assistant on a larger model from OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter.

Other apps can use the same tools through the Model Context Protocol. If you have a Claude or Codex subscription, for example, you can use it to edit photos. MCP access is read-and-edit only, scoped to the folders you have open. To connect a client, see Connect an MCP client.
